Castel Caves ( Puente Viesgo )
Pas on the river, passing through Puente Viesgo, rises the Monte Castillo, a cone-shaped limestone elevation that hides inside a maze of caves frequented by man for at least the last 150,000 years. These caves, five of them with Paleolithic rock art, highlights the El Castillo, discovered by H. Mayor of Rio in 1903 and discussed on numerous archaeological science whose results are related to understanding human development and behavior during prehistory in southwestern Europe
